Joseph L. Perno, D.D.S., F.A.G.D.
Dr. Perno has been in practice since 1975. He received his bachelor of Science degree from Penn State University and his dental degree from Temple University School of Dentistry. He holds memberships in The Academy of General Dentistry, The New Jersey Dental Association, Southern Dental Society of NJ and the American Association of Oral and Systemic Health. Dr. Perno has also been honored with Fellowships in the American College of Dentistry, The Academy of Dentistry International and The International College of Dentists.
A firm believer in continuing education in dentistry, he has been extremely active in the Academy of General Dentistry. This 35,000-member organization which has required continuing education to maintain membership long before many state Dental Boards. His activity ultimately led to his becoming president of the AGD in 1998.
Dr. Perno was the Philadelphia Flyers team dentist for many years treating his first player in 1977. He has been listed as a top dentist in SJ Magazine and New Jersey Monthly Magazine. He volunteered for years at "Project Smiles" free dental clinic at the "Cathedral Kitchen" in Camden until it had to unfortunately close due to the pandemic.
Dr. Perno strongly believes in the importance of family both personally and professionally. He shares his personal life with his wife Rosanne, 3 children and 4 beautiful grandchildren and he shares his professional life with his office team who he considers his second family.
He truly believes that each person that becomes a patient in his practice deserve individual attention and the best care possible while making them feel like part of our office family.
